Description
The MGF-0392 Hose and Cable Ramp is the rubber wedge section for the modular ramp system designed to take larger diameter hose from 140mm up to a maximum of 180mm in diameter depending upon which steel bridge section is used. This particular part takes the vehicle up 155mm above the ground.
Used with other rubber elements of this system it is possible to make a ramp over 3750mm long which enables most cars to traverse the ramp without “beaching”. The design allows for the front wheel to still be up in the rubber blocks when the rear wheel starts up the leading edge of the ramp.
This part is similar to the MGF-0238 but has a 1200mm length for a more gentle incline.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1 – Limitations? – This cable protector should NOT be used with fork lift trucks, tracked vehicles or any other vehicle with solid tyres/wheels.
2 – How would I avoid cars grounding on the bridge? – Due to the height of modular system, we would recommend the following basic configuration, this gives an overall length that would ensure that most cars would have all wheels off the ground at the same time, and therefore avoid ‘beaching’
- Ramp – Spacer – Spacer – Bridge – Spacer – Spacer – Ramp
3 – I need to run more than 2 Hoses, is this possible? – Yes. This can be achieved by incorporating the ‘Joiner’ section (MGF-0239). This piece joins two or more bridges together, see the following examples.
- (4 Hoses/Cables) – Ramp – Spacer – Spacer – Bridge – Joiner – Bridge – Spacer – Spacer – Ramp
- (6 Hoses/Cables) – Ramp – Spacer – Spacer – Bridge – Joiner – Bridge – Joiner – Bridge – Spacer – Spacer – Ramp

Note: These ramps are for temporary deployment and not for permanent fitting. The ramp should be deployed on firm ground, ideally concrete or tarmac. Avoid bridging over voids as this could cause the ramp to fail.
Important: Signage should be in place to slow traffic down (max. 5 mph) whilst traversing the ramp.
