Description
It is easier and quicker to replace damaged bumpers or studs fixed to a back plate compared to those fixed directly into concrete. This backplate has no galvanised coating so that it is better for welding to steel structures.
The MGF-0051 back plate has 2 x M24 threaded holes to accommodate any of our 450mm rubber bumpers. There are also 4 holes for fixing the plate to the bay, 2 are 20mm dia and 2 are 28mm dia ( the larger holes are there to allow this part to be fitted with an angle bracket to take the backplate above the dock – see part MGF-0061 & MGF-0062 ).
